Job 42:10 (KJV): And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Our theme scripture gives us deep insight into the heart of God. We learn from it that it was important to God that Job’s friends be not lost. Infact, only when Job prayed for his friends did the Lord turn his captivity.

Often times, we want things yet the heart of God wants people. But if you understand how God works, you will know that when our hearts turn to people, things are recovered. It was so in the story of Job and it is still the same today. When his heart turned to his friends, God gave him back what he had lost.

Today, I urge you to take your focus off what you want to receive from God. Understand that his heart beats for people. It is those who touch, impact and change the biggest number of people in the world who attract the world’s biggest successes.
