god-love
1 John 4:16 (KJV): And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. God’s love is constant. It is His nature and because of this, it is unchanging.

This love can never be dulled by circumstances and is not dictated by the things you do or do not do. In Romans 8:38-39, the Apostle Paul describes the strength of this love. He says “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

In light of this, you should never be deceived into questioning this love. If you feel unloved by God, rather, you ought to ask whether you love Him enough. In Matthew 24:12 the Bible speaks of an instance when the love of a man grows cold. God cannot stop loving a man but a man can stop responding to His love. God cannot take away His love but a man can grow indifferent to God’s love. Because His love cannot be compromised, it remains for you to ask whether your love for Him has been compromised.
