jesus-took
1 Peter 2:24 (KJV): Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

When our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ died, He took away our sins and also dealt with all manner of sickness in the human body. He did it once and for all(1 Peter 3:18). This is why the language in our theme scripture is past tense and not present continuous.

If Jesus took sickness away, you must understand that the devil has no right to afflict you with what the Lord dealt with.

If you believe otherwise, then you must assume that the enemy has the power to undo what Christ achieved at the cross of Calvary. You may ask, ‘How about the people, including Christians who are struggling with disease all over the world? How does their reality reconcile with this truth?’ The answer is that they either have no knowledge of this revelation or do not believe it. The power that took away is the same power that keeps away. The glory that healed you is the same glory that keeps you healthy.
